Privacy policy

WebWeaver ([legal entity and company number], "we") builds and restores websites for businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect through webweaver.co.uk and while working with clients, why, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration [ICO number].

What we collect

• Enquiry and audit forms: your name, email address, business name, website address and anything you write in the message. We use this to reply to you and to prepare the audit or proposal you asked for. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• Bookings: if you book a call, our booking provider ([Cal.com or other]) collects your name, email and the time you chose, under its own privacy policy.
• Payments: deposits and care plans are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
• Client work: during a project we hold the content, logos, credentials and business information you give us to build the site, under our contract with you.
• Website analytics: [Plausible (no cookies, no personal data) or GA4 (cookie consent required)].

Cookies

The site itself sets no marketing cookies. Embedded services (the booking calendar, Stripe payment pages) may set their own cookies when you use them. [If GA4 is used, describe the consent banner here.]

How long we keep it

Enquiries and audits: 12 months from our last contact, then deleted unless you become a client. Client project files: for the length of the contract and 6 years after, for tax and legal records. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time unless we are legally required to keep it.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that make the service work: hosting (Vercel), email, booking, payments (Stripe), and project tools (Trello, Slack, Google Workspace). Some of these process data outside the UK under standard contractual clauses or UK adequacy decisions. We never sell personal data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk. Email hello@webweaver.design and we will respond within one month.
